Jill Hebert accepted as C200 life time member

Addison, IL – September 18, 2006 -   “The Committee of 200” announced today the acceptance of Jill Hebert as a C200 lifetime member.  The Committee of 200 (C200) is an international not-for-profit membership association of pre-eminent business women who collectively control over $100 billion annually in revenue.

C200 members are dedicated to fostering growth and increasing opportunities for the next generation of women business leaders through the C200 Foundation’s Outreach, Education and Mentoring (OEM) agenda.  C200 Foundation executes more than $1.2 million dollars in member-driven OEM programs annually.  C200 programs have proven impact on girls, young women, and established women business leaders.

In the beginning, C200 was a small, private organization intent on keeping a low profile. In fact, Business Week once called The Committee of 200 "the most high-powered organization you've never heard of." The roster of founding members, however, reads like a veritable "Who's Who" of some of the most celebrated names in business. Katharine Graham of the Washington Post. Sherry Lansing of 20th Century Fox. Patricia Cloherty of Patricof & Co. Ventures, Inc. Christie Hefner of Playboy Enterprises, and Muriel Siebert, of Muriel

In 1986, C200 launched The C200 Foundation, the organization's grant-making arm. The C200 Foundation provides women with the tools they need to become successful entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. Together with its contributors and corporate partners, C200 equips the next generation of women with scholarships, education, and mentoring that will foster their rise to the top.
